We cant wait for Summer! If Elle is anything like her mommy she will want to be in a bikini by the beach ALL summer long! I love summer and I cant wait to spend my first Summer with my little girl!!! :)

Elle LOVES her baths...she could be crying and upset and the second I start to give her a bath she is instantly calm....not to mention she is sooo cute with wet eyelashes! :)
We went to Arizona the last week of February for Sean's new company. It was great, Sean and I took several classes on investing and learned SOOO much and are so excited for what 2008 has in store for our family. We took Elle and my sister Noel came as our traveling Nanny :) and we enjoyed a great week in the AZ sun! Thank you Noel for being such a good Auntie....I think you will be going on all our vacations with us from here on out!!! :)

We stopped to see Aunt Lauren before we hit the road...She missed Elle that week while we were gone..and I think will be fighting Noel for the next time we need a traveling nanny :)

It was so warm all week, Elle had her first experience in the Swimming pool and LOVED IT!

We stopped at Quartzite on our trip home for gas....and Sean bought Noel and I Donkey trucker hats! Does that mean he thinks we are a couple of Donkeys???LOL :)
Since having Elle I could not wait for my doctor to give me my clearance to start working out again. Once he did, I realized that I wasn't exactly going back to the gym with an infant in my arms, so Sean got me a jogger....and I LOVE it! Elle and I jog around the Back Bay at least 3 times a week and enjoy the view, the sunshine and all of the birdies. To all you new mommies out there....I highly recommend getting a jogger. For me it is so great to be able to do the things I use to do pre-pregnancy..... now I just have a little buddy with me!
Growing up I knew that my Dad was special and different than all the other dads....my dad always went above and beyond as far as being involved with his three girls. I knew that he was special and that not all dads were that way...so now having my own little girl and watching her with Sean, I couldnt be luckier. Sean is such an awesome dad...the way he cares for her, looks at her, talks to her and loves her, is nothing short of amazing! He is such a good daddy that sometimes I watch him and hope that I am that good at being a mom.
She never takes her eyes off of her daddy....Sean and Elle are like Peas and Carrots...they are truly two peas in a pod!!

This weekend Elle and Kai got a chance to hang out. Elle was in awe with Kai and Kai was in awe with Elle's booties :)haha..... it was really cute to see them interact....I could have watched them for hours.
So everyone knows that Sean and I were married last year in March in a completely unplanned ceremony at the "Little White Wedding Chapel" in Vegas. It was a wonderful, exciting, crazy weekend that has led to the most wonderful year of my life and the birth of our beautiful daughter.
Anyway, because it was completely unplanned none of our friends or family were with us as we took our vows. The only record of the day is of course our marriage license and one roll of film (old school 35mm style) that the photographer (Sammy Davis Jr. look alike) handed us as we left.
Our trip home that weekend was nuts...our flights were canceled due to bad weather on the East coast and we ended up renting a suburban and a driver to drive us home. Needless to say it was a long trip home. In all the shuffle we misplaced the roll of film and we have since moved twice and the film never surfaced so we thought the pictures were gone forever. Until last week........
I was cleaning out an old purse and I found the film. I knew exactly what it was when I found it...we just don’t have many 35mm rolls of film laying around. LOL!
So I had them developed, blown up and framed and gave them to Sean for Valentines. You should have seen his face! It was priceless!
Almost one year later we finally got to see our wedding pics....and we LOVE them. They are definitely one of a kind....

This week Elle turns 8 weeks old...I cant believe how fast time has gone. We went to her 2 month appointment this week and she got her shots. :( It was hard for me to watch but she was so good and only cried for a second. She has also become so animated. She is now smiling and laughing and so alert during the day. Each day that passes we fall more and more in love...being a mommy has been the most amazing experience, it becomes more and rewarding every day.
