Elle LOVES to read books. Her favorite thing (other than her little lamb) are her books. Sometimes I will find her in a random corners of the house sitting by herself looking at her books. It is so cute. She has recently figured out how to get up on our bed, so now I will find her several times a day in the middle of our bed "reading." I guess she figures that she may as well be cozy while she reads! :) I just love our little smartie....
This weekend was a BUSY one. I hosted Noel's Bridal shower on Saturday and then Easter on Sunday. The shower was wonderful, I was so happy with the way it turned out. I have been preparing for the shower little by little, the past few months and had originally planned on having it in our backyard. Needless to say the weather was beautiful...but the lame weather reporters had me freaked out all week saying to expect rain....so after stressing out over it all week I decided to host the event indoors. It required a bit more work....moving out ALL of our furniture in the living and sitting rooms into the garage but in the end it turned out perfect. I cant even be mad at the weather people for misleading me, the day was beautiful and the shower was great indoors.

Elle loves to cook with me! She knows where my aprons are and will bring one to me when she is ready to get busy in the kitchen! :) It is the cutest thing ever (I love to cook...so it makes me smile to think she might like it too) I just love watching her mix away....she really gets into it...she even licks the spoon! :) (not sure where she learned that part..hehe)

This Saturday was Ashley's Baby shower. We are all so excited for Zoie's arrival and can't wait to add another little girl to the team! Ashley's Hawaiian Baby shower turned out beautiful and everyone had such a nice time. It was great to get all of the girls together (it has been a while) to celebrate such an amazing event. We love you Ash and cant wait to meet Zoie!
For Valentine's weekend Sean surprised me with a little get away. We spent the weekend at the Santa Monica Viceroy (which is a favorite of mine) and had such a great time. Although at one point we found ourselves at the Bar, drinking martini's and watching video's of Elle on our camera..lol,,,it was so nice to spend a little time alone. We had such a blast..bar hopping, playing games on the SM pier, riding the famous ferris wheel like total tourists :), going to a fancy dinner...and more bar hopping...lol. The next morning we had breakfast on the beach in Malibu but couldn't wait to get home to Elle Belle. I am so lucky to have such a beautiful lil family...a husband who is everything I could ever ask for and the sweetest most beautiful little girl.
I guess when life couldn't be happier, things as silly as Valentines Day just makes you that much more thankful for everything you have!!! Hope everyone felt the love this Valentines! XOXOXO
My mom and dad celebrated their 30th Anniversary on Jan 28th. These days having parents that are still married is a pretty rare thing, my parents are seriously amazing! Not only are they still in love but we all have so much fun together! For their Anniversary they spent the weekend at a Villa in Newport Coast so we all spent the weekend laughing, eating, drinking and carrying on poolside in our beautiful 85 degree January weather! It was a great weekend!
