Our little girl turned one on December 15th. We celebrated her first at our home with a western theme. Our little Cowgirl had such a great day with all of our friends and family. She had fun in the bouncy, some yummy BBQ eats and received LOTS of love from everyone! Thank you to all of our friends and family who made Elle's day sooo special!
My Elle Ryan turned one year old today. She had her 1st Birthday party on Sunday and has experienced so many countless firts the last 12 months. She is growing and changing daily, which is nothing short of amazing to witness firsthand everyday. We love this little girl soooooo much and are so blessed to have been given such a little angel. While the rain came down today, we stayed cozy indoors and I couldn't stop thinking about what our day was like, on this day last year. Seeing her little face for the first time and kissing her little nose....what a wonderful day!
We love you Binky! December 15th, 2007 will forever be the best day of our lives!
P.S. I know I have been bad with the updates lately..I will update the last month or so very soon, we have Thanksgiving, winter festivities and of course Elle's first Bday party to post but as of right now I am exhausted from this weekends festivities and a glass of wine is calling my name so we will update soon!

Our little Rug Rat is 11 months old...I say rug rat in the cutest way possible as our little Elle Belle is such a precious little monkey who melts hearts everywhere we go but at the same time this age brings so many new things to the table. Elle is now into EVERYTHING! She is constantly making messes and it seems like I cant keep the girl clean. She is the cutest messiest little munchkin ever and we just love it! Her personality is sooo adorable and she is so loving and friendly with EVERYONE...all it takes is eye contact and Elle is anyones instant buddy! I love how outgoing and personable she is....as Sean says, "Our little girl is gonna make waves in this world." And I think he is definitely right. She is so strong and determined and at such a young age understands so much and is learning so quickly. We have a little smarty pants on our hands!
Things Elle Knows: She looks at fire (i.e. burning candles or the stove when I'm cooking) and says "Hot", She loves Birds..and looks in the sky if you ask her where the birdies are and says "ba" and points, She touches cold (i.e. ice or a cold drink) and says "burr", She sees or hears puppies and says "woo, woo" like their bark, She loves dads hats...takes them off his head and puts them on her and then gives us the biggest tooth filled grin and says "hat", We have gotten her to say Hello on the phone...which she LOVES our cell phones but it sounds more like "herrow", While we drive, she sits in the back seat and says Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom...like 100 times like she is going to ask me a question or something.It is so cute! She loves to brush her teeth...we say "brusha, brusha, brusha" and she shows her pearly whites and brushes away.... I could go on and on...she is so smart and is mimicking everything we do and say...its nuts. Next Sean and I are gonna be spelling things to each other so she doesn't know what we are talking about!
LOL ...we already do when it comes to talking about Baba's! :)
We now enter a whole new stage...the life of having a toddler...:) sooo much fun...we look forward to every milestone!
I could take pictures of her ALL day! She is so freakin cute.. I never knew that this kind of love was possible.....she is an unbelievable blessing!
Our good friends Dave and Christi Gonzales welcomed their little boy Tyler Joseph into the world on October 27, 2008. He weighed 8lbs 15oz and is 21.5 inches long and is just perfect. The family is doing great and we are so excited for them to join us in parenthood! They are going to be such great parents!
Being a mom has by far been the most rewarding job I have ever had, however as Elle is quickly approaching her 1st Birthday, I cant help but miss the old me. I miss the hustle bustle of having a career and adult interaction on a daily bases but more than anything I miss the gratification of a fat paycheck! :) But on the other hand it would kill me to have someone else spend more time with Elle than I would be able to if I were to go back to the corporate world. So for the last few months I have been racking my brain to try to think of something that would satisfy all of my needs....and there was only one answer....to become a MOMPRENEUR! :)
....so I did it...but not alone. With the inspiration of my daughter and the drive and encouragement of my Husband we started a new business. For the last two months we have been creating and tweaking our own little brand, creating the product, beginning the build of a website, researching and contacting baby boutiques and recruiting help.
The main product of Halo Couture, for the time being are handmade letters for kid's bedrooms...but with a twist. I was tired of seeing such boring letters in baby boutiques selling for $35 bucks a piece...so it all started by making my own for Elle. I use sheik colors and create a unique a customized look with vintage buttons and jewels.....I Glam'ed things up a bit....and when my husband brought it up to a local boutique owner...and they were more than interested, I realized we had something! We are so excited and pleased with the launch of our new endeavor and excited to see what the future holds for our little biz. For now look for us in your local baby boutiques ( I will post a list of where u can find us) but also stay tuned for our own Online Baby Boutique as for now our product consists of the Halo Couture letters but we are working with some designers and will be adding Couture Onsies, Beanies, Bibs and hand stitched vintage bunnies.....stay tuned...

Here are a few pics of the beginning of our production, just to give you an idea until the product shots get added to the website.
We spent the afternoon at the Pumpkin Patch with some of our friends. All the kids dressed up and got a chance to climb around all of the pumpkins. We went on a train ride and just enjoyed hanging out with everyone. It is hard to believe that Halloween is around the corner, which means the holiday season is upon us....next will be Elle's first birthday and that is crazy to say the least! She will be one before we know it..our baby is growing sooo fast...we are looking forward to the holidays more than ever this year because we get to share them with our little princess...
